About
Description
Introducing UC Graduate and Professional Council (UCGPC) and their flagship event, the Graduate Summit 2023! This dynamic brand is dedicated to empowering graduate and professional students, student affairs staff, and community advocates within the University of California system. The Graduate Summit 2023 is a unique opportunity for attendees to connect, learn, and collaborate on the most pressing issues facing the graduate and professional student community. This free event, taking place on November 4, 2023, at UCLA Kerckhoff Grand Salon, features a range of highlights including a keynote address by California Secretary of State Dr.
Shirley Weber, engaging workshops on key topics in higher education, networking opportunities, and deep dives into community advocacy strategies. In addition to the enriching program, participants will enjoy a culinary experience with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided throughout the day. Following in-depth discussions, the UCGPC Board will establish its advocacy agenda for the year, focusing on important campaigns such as basic needs and civic engagement.
To further enhance the summit, UCGPC is inviting presenters to share their expertise and insights on themes like financing graduate school, campus climate, access and disability justice, and student health. Those interested in presenting can apply by October 8, 2023. Registration is required to secure your spot at this empowering event.
Don't miss this transformative experience and the opportunity to shape the future of graduate and professional education. To join, simply register at bit. ly/GradSummitReg23.
