Welcome to the University College Literary & Athletic Society (UC Lit), the oldest democratically-elected student government in Canada. Our role is to promote an atmosphere of collegiality, community, and opportunity that enhances your student experience at UC. We represent the interests of the student body and ensure that your needs and concerns are adequately addressed.

At UC Lit, we cultivate a community based on values of accessibility, equity, and transparency, fostering mutual trust. Throughout the year, we organize a variety of social, cultural, academic, and athletic events such as the UC Drag Show, Athletics Intramurals, Coffeehouse, and the Truth & Reconciliation Forum. Looking to start or join a club? Rent athletic gear? Buy merchandise? Or get involved in event planning? We've got you covered! Our services include administering UC graduation composite photos, managing student clubs, and booking the Junior Common Room for your events.
