## Description

United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR) is an Amentum-led partnership with Jacobs and Honeywell, serving as the lead cleanup contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management in Tennessee. Its mission is to reduce environmental risks and support a safer future through cleanup and management work across the Oak Ridge Reservation.

UCOR cleans up contaminated, excess and unused facilities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Y-12 National Security Complex and the East Tennessee Technology Park. Its services include facility deactivation and demolition, waste management, and the safe removal of hazards and legacy infrastructure. The company also maintains facilities awaiting disposition and delivers upgrades that extend the life of active, aging facilities. Where possible, cleanup projects recover reusable equipment and materials for other national security and government missions.

Safety is central to UCOR’s approach, alongside environmental responsibility and careful project planning. The organization also supports community and workforce development through initiatives such as STEM mini-grants, employment opportunities and supplier engagement.
