## Description

The United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa (UCPA) is a charity organisation based in Johannesburg. It provides care and stimulation for children and adults with cerebral palsy, including residents who stay at its home. UCPA’s primary goals are to offer quality nursing care and creative, stimulating therapy suited to its clients’ needs.

The association runs a year-round programme of planned daily activities, organised around different themes. Active exploration is central to these projects, alongside attention to practical areas of development. Activities focus on self-feeding, floor play, hand function, and the stimulation of fine and gross motor skills. UCPA also introduces visitors to its residents and shares information about the organisation’s work and the condition it supports people living with.

Its website offers a range of resources, including frequently asked questions, a newsletter, a company profile, and information explaining cerebral palsy. Visitors can also consult an events calendar and access organisational documentation and a presentation.
