Its central focus is Uddevallavarvet, the shipyard founded in 1946 and active until 1986, alongside the businesses that have shaped the city from earlier periods to the present. Through research and documentation, the association makes local history accessible in text, photographs, film and archival material. Its resources include company histories, a picture archive featuring shipyard, workplace, employee and vessel images, newspaper collections, maps and historical films. Members contribute through specialist working groups covering archives, industry, local history, film and information technology, and the association also arranges company visits, meetings and other activities. UVIF publishes books about Uddevalla and its industrial past, and offers books and films for sale. The association’s website provides access to its publications, digital collections, project information and updates. By preserving records and presenting stories of local enterprises and working life, UVIF helps residents and visitors explore how Uddevalla has developed. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/user/uddevallatvforening) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEL2fNvT-/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792872625284) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Atomic Tangerine | #fe9361 | accent | | Venice Blue | #0a6d9c | dark | | Seashell | #f1f1f1 | light | ## Fonts - avenir-lt-w01_35-light1475496 — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
