## Description

UDT Australia is a defence and industry event focused on undersea technology, security and capability development. Held in Adelaide, South Australia, from 2 to 4 December 2026, it brings together defence leaders, government representatives, industry professionals, researchers and academics from Australia, the Indo-Pacific and the wider global community. Its theme, “Engineering the Undersea Future,” centres on turning emerging technologies into operational capabilities and strengthening regional collaboration.

The three-day programme features a two-day exhibition and technical conference, followed by an industry visit programme. Conference sessions include technical presentations, case studies and discussion of undersea threats, technologies and best practices. The 2026 programme highlights autonomy, application, agility and human factors, including autonomous systems, technology integration, scalable capability delivery, workforce skills and training.

UDT Australia also offers exhibition and networking opportunities for established organisations, prospective clients, start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises. Initiatives include a Newcomer Zone with product demonstrations and networking activities, connecting attendees with Australian innovators and the broader defence ecosystem.
