## Description

The Union of Protestant Churches of Alsace and Lorraine (UEPAL) brings together two Protestant churches, Reformed and Lutheran, serving communities across Alsace and Moselle. Its work combines worship, spiritual life, education, pastoral care and public reflection, while supporting local parishes and their members. People can explore faith resources, including Bible reading, prayer, spiritual retreats and courses, and find information about baptism, confirmation, marriage and funerals. UEPAL also offers training for ministers, chaplains, volunteer visitors, preachers and educators, alongside religious education and youth activities.

Its support services include listening and pastoral accompaniment, assistance for couples and families, chaplaincy in hospitals, schools, universities, prisons and the armed forces, and support for people affected by violence. The union promotes solidarity, climate justice, international missions, accessibility and interfaith and ecumenical dialogue. Through events, publications, a Protestant media library and articles on theology, ethics, the environment and society, UEPAL shares ideas and news. Visitors can locate a church, learn about its organization and history, or contribute to a parish or mission project.
