## Description

The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), established in 1974 by renowned investigator Robert J. Gribble, serves as a vital hub for documenting and analyzing UFO sightings. Over five decades, NUFORC has gathered and processed more than 170,000 reports, providing a trustworthy platform for individuals to share their experiences. The Center operates a comprehensive website, facilitating the submission of reports while ensuring anonymity for witnesses.

NUFORC stands apart due to its commitment to transparency, offering public access to summarized data and detailed information for seasoned investigators. Its reputation is recognized by law enforcement, FAA centers, and emergency services across the U.S. and Canada, who often redirect calls regarding potential UFO sightings to the Center.

Under the direction of Peter Davenport since 1994, the organization promotes research and awareness of UFO phenomena, while CTO Christian Stepien enhances its technological infrastructure. With a mission to document unusual events and educate the public, NUFORC remains a leading authority in UFO research.
