## Description

The Unofficial Football World Championships (UFWC) presents an exciting alternative to traditional football competitions, tracing its lineage back to the first international match in 1872. Operating under a unique boxing-style title system, the UFWC allows real international teams to engage in continuous title matches, with winners becoming the Unofficial Football Champions. This vibrant competition reflects a rich history, where the title has been fiercely contested by teams from around 50 nations, including both football giants and lesser-known squads.

Since its establishment as an organization in 2002, after a spirited debate among fans, the UFWC has developed an all-time ranking system. This system awards ranking points for title match victories, enhancing the competitive stakes of international friendlies and tournaments. Their website offers a treasure trove of information, including rules, rankings, and updates on new initiatives like the CW Alcock Trophy and Hughie the Mascot. Enthusiastically endorsed by FIFA for promoting the joy of football, UFWC captivates fans with the thrill of every match, making each game feel like a cup final.
