## Description

The Parma Territorial Section of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UICI) is a nonprofit third-sector organization dedicated to the rights, inclusion and wellbeing of people who are blind or have low vision. Founded as part of a national association established in 1920, the section represents and protects members’ moral and material interests, while promoting equal participation in society.

Its work spans sight-loss prevention, visual recovery and rehabilitation, education, and cultural and professional development.
