## Description

Cosimo is an independent literary publisher and bookshop based in Antwerp, Belgium, with an in-house coffee bar. The publisher focuses on translated world literature, especially forgotten classics, bringing notable works back to readers through carefully produced editions. Its catalogue includes books by authors such as Soseki Natsume, Klaus Mann, Luigi Pirandello and Charlotte Perkins Gilman, alongside titles by Junichiro Tanizaki, Alice Rivaz, Kenji Miyazawa and Iris Murdoch. Cosimo’s books are designed to offer both literary and visual value, reflecting the care it brings to selecting and publishing each work.

Alongside its publishing programme, Cosimo runs a curated literary bookshop where visitors can browse its own releases and other books. The adjoining coffee bar serves specialty coffee, offering a welcoming place to spend time with literature. The shop and café are open six days a week at Scheldestraat 79 in Antwerp. Readers can also follow new publications and receive author-related stories through the publisher’s newsletter.
