# Survivors of Bereavement - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `uk-sobs.org.uk` ## Description Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) is the only UK-based organization dedicated to providing peer-led support for adults affected by suicide loss. Recognizing the profound isolation that accompanies such grief, SoBS fosters safe and confidential environments where individuals can share their experiences and emotions. Their services include local and virtual support groups, helmed by facilitators who are themselves bereaved, ensuring empathy and understanding. The organization offers various forms of support, such as a national helpline staffed by trained volunteers, email support for those who prefer written communication, and an online community forum for peer-to-peer interaction. Additionally, SoBS provides valuable resources, including informational booklets, films, and poetry, to help navigate the complex feelings surrounding suicide loss. Committed to raising awareness, they also hold events like World Suicide Prevention Day and fundraising initiatives. With a compassionate approach, SoBS aims to help individuals cope and find hope in their journey toward healing. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Mental Health _(under Health)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/SOBSCharity) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/SOBSCharity) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/sobscharity) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGPqyLxE1/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1722111270414) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Royal Blue | #6b51ea | accent | | Saddle | #4b2e20 | dark | | Wild Sand | #f7f7f7 | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGPqyLxE1/w/1500/h/500/idexHzM9dT.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1722111270283) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
