Established in 1982 by Ian Cherkas, Carlton Clocks initially began in a small garage in Radlett but has since expanded to occupy a spacious showroom and workshops in Little Chalfont, Amersham. In March 2021, the business underwent a reorganization, separating sales and repairs.

Ian relocated to Somerset to handle the sales side of the business. All clocks sold by Carlton Clocks are meticulously restored to the highest standard by skilled craftsmen, and they come with a comprehensive guarantee of their excellent working order. In addition to their antique collection, Carlton Clocks also offers a range of design-led modern timepieces by Erwin Sattler and Kieninger.
