## Description

The UK Pollinator Monitoring Scheme (UK PoMS) is dedicated to tracking changes in insect pollinator populations throughout the UK. Coordinated by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) in collaboration with various partners, UK PoMS has launched two extensive surveys: the FIT Counts and the 1 km square survey. These initiatives actively involve volunteers in gathering crucial data on pollinators. UK PoMS not only engages communities but also supports the UK’s national strategies for pollinators, including the National Pollinator Strategy and regional action plans in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
