## Description

UKS Filipides Teresin is a Polish youth sports club founded on 8 March 2008. Based in Teresin, the club promotes running as an accessible way to stay active and supports the development of athletic talent. Its work brings together young runners, coaches and the wider local community, with opportunities for athletes to take part in running events across Poland throughout the year.

Alongside its sporting activities, Filipides organizes sports and recreational events, including initiatives developed with the Teresin Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre. The club also shares information about its athletes, coaching staff, records, projects and events, and provides a dedicated area for athletes, a running guide and educational resources. Its website highlights child-protection standards and encourages public support through Poland’s 1.5% tax donation system. Filipides’ activities combine participation, athlete development and community engagement, helping make running a lasting part of local life while giving young competitors a platform to pursue their sporting ambitions.
