## Description

Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Niska is a Warsaw-based sports club founded in 2003 by teachers from the former Gimnazjum nr 37. Led by president Agnieszka Grzebała since its establishment, the club is based at Primary School No. 32 on Niska Street. Its sporting program has evolved over time: the club began with synchronized swimming and water polo, introduced wrestling in 2006, and later replaced its aquatic sections with sumo. Today, UKS Niska offers wrestling and sumo training for children and young people, with activities at several school and preschool locations across Warsaw. Beginners learn through games, acrobatics and gymnastics alongside introductory wrestling skills, while more experienced athletes train with specialists. The club’s competitors include Polish champions and medalists, as well as European and world championship medalists. UKS Niska also shares news, competition schedules and results, and provides information about its athletes, coaches and membership. Its youth sports training is co-funded by the City of Warsaw, and the club has also been a beneficiary of the government’s KLUB and KLUB PRO programs in 2026.
