## Description

The UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC) is a dynamic youth group based in the UK. Their mission is to mobilize and empower young people to take positive action for global climate justice. They believe that climate change is imminent, man-made, and will further exacerbate existing structures of oppression. To address this, UKYCC not only tackles climate change but also challenges the roots of social and climate injustice to create a better world for everyone. Comprising volunteers aged between 18 and 29, UKYCC works collaboratively to achieve their vision of a just and sustainable world. They are guided by their values, which include amplifying youth voices, systemic change, non-violence, transparency, anti-oppression, inclusivity, diversity, and independence. The organization operates in a consensus-driven, non-hierarchical manner, with each member playing an equal part in its functioning. They have multiple working groups and campaigns, both local and international, constantly evolving and adapting to tackle key climate issues. UKYCC upholds a strong code of conduct, ensuring that all members act within the agreed mission, vision, and values of the group. This fosters a safe and positive environment for pursuing climate justice. For more information and resources, visit their website.
