The University of Liberia, established in 1862, is a prestigious public institution offering a wide array of academic programs. Initially known as Liberia College, it transitioned into a full-fledged university in 1951. Funded primarily by the Government of Liberia, the university boasts four campuses: Capitol Hill, Fendall, Medical School Fendall, and Starz-Sinji in Grand Cape Mount County.
