## Description

Ulrike Funke’s Komm!ASS® Institute for Perception and Autism provides training, resources and therapeutic support focused on understanding autistic people and individuals with sensory differences. Founded on Funke’s decades of experience as a speech therapist, the institute shares a therapy approach developed from her work with autistic people and children with feeding and drinking difficulties.

Its offerings include introductory and advanced courses for professionals, caregivers and parents, delivered in person or online, as well as lectures, workshops, consultations and supervision. Courses explore sensory processing, regulation and supportive interaction, with options for organizations to host training at their own locations. The institute also provides perception-based drinking and eating therapy, including an online program, and courses and consultations on feeding challenges.

Publications and learning materials include books for parents and therapists, specialist articles, downloads, podcasts, questionnaires and recommendations. A new stimming assessment form is available for use and voluntary research contributions. Led by Ulrike Funke and a team of speech therapists and colleagues, the institute aims to strengthen quality of life, emotional development, communication and participation through individualized, needs-oriented support.
