Affiliated with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Alumni Association, the chapter celebrates its HBCU heritage and brings alumni together through service, fellowship, and community engagement. Its work focuses on supporting students, strengthening alumni connections, mentoring future leaders, and encouraging greater student enrollment and scholarship opportunities. The chapter also aims to uplift small businesses, partner with local charities, and build stronger community networks. Members can take part by volunteering, mentoring, attending events, and contributing their skills to chapter initiatives. Donations help fund scholarships and student assistance, community outreach, support for families in need during the holidays, and chapter expenses. The organization reports helping a Philadelphia-area student with financial assistance so she could return to UMES for the Fall 2026 semester. Through these programs and activities, the chapter works to honor the university’s legacy while creating lasting opportunities for students, alumni, and local communities. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Grants Scholarships and Financial Aid _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/umesphillyalumni) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/umesphillyalumni) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idx175HPVw/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790354478167) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idx175HPVw/w/1125/h/1126/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790354478427) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Wine Berry | #651d32 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Golden Tainoi | #ffc94e | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
