## Description

UMS-Arts is the art practice and online gallery of German artist Ulrike Miesen-Schürmann, based in Lilienthal. Bringing together art, ideas and learning, the brand offers original paintings and drawings inspired by subjects the artist enjoys, with works available to browse and purchase through the gallery. Customers can enquire about larger pieces, buy online using PayPal, credit card or bank transfer, or arrange an atelier visit or collection. Orders are shipped insured, and purchased works may be returned within 14 days, with return postage paid by the customer.

Ulrike also works as a painting and drawing coach, helping people get started and develop their skills in colour, form, light, composition and perspective. Her guidance spans materials from pencil to oil paint. In 2026, UMS-Arts is offering four workshops. The site also features painting tips, a gallery archive, and a library of the artist’s prose and poetry. Sometimes combining pictures with stories, Ulrike shares updates about new work, exhibitions, events and courses through the website and newsletter.
