## Description

UMYUM Foods is a Canadian plant-based food brand creating dairy-free cheese and butter for memorable meals and shared food experiences. Guided by a commitment to simple ingredients and exceptional quality, the brand aims to make plant-based eating feel generous, delicious, and welcoming.

UMYUM began when founders Katherine and Baz sought a dairy-free alternative for their family. Katherine, a trained pastry chef, developed a range of cheeses, while Baz helped taste-test and build the brand. Their breakthrough was Monroe, a distinctive bloomy-rinded cheese that friends praised and that became the starting point for UMYUM. The founders have since spent years developing their products and refining their craft.

The brand’s offerings include plant-based cheese and butter, with Monroe highlighted as a signature cheese. Customers can explore the products, shop, and use UMYUM’s store locator to find a retailer. The company also shares its story and community through its Society section. UMYUM brings culinary creativity and a personal origin story to dairy-free food, creating products intended for everyday enjoyment and special occasions alike.
