## Description

AMZItalia, short for Un Anima Mille Zampe Italia, is an Italian animal and environmental protection association founded in 2019. It works to defend animals, respond to emergencies, raise public awareness, and provide practical support through volunteers, education, and nonviolent action. The association also receives reports and denounces animal abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm to the environment. Its services and initiatives include animal adoption and distance adoption, donation opportunities, five-per-thousand tax contributions, and an AMZItalia membership card. AMZItalia also shares information about animals’ stories and offers vegan recipes. Its “A Shelter for Four-Legged Friends” project aims to provide abandoned, mistreated, or vulnerable dogs and cats with a safe place, veterinary care, food, and support as they recover and seek new families. The project also plans community education, awareness campaigns, and solidarity events. With a presence across Italy, AMZItalia seeks to build a practical network of care and responsible adoption, giving animals in difficulty protection and a chance for a better life.
