## Description

Universe Awareness (UNAWE) is an innovative program dedicated to inspiring young minds through the wonders of the cosmos. Founded by Professor George Miley from Leiden University, UNAWE leverages the awe of astronomy to foster a love for science and technology among children aged 4 to 10, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. With a vision that blends social, educational, and scientific objectives, UNAWE promotes global citizenship and cultural tolerance, helping children understand their role in a broader international community.

UNAWE offers a wealth of resources including educational materials, guides, videos, and interactive activities designed to captivate young learners. Additionally, the program features initiatives like the Ambassador Programme and the Discovery Club, empowering volunteers and amateur astronomers to engage with children and enhance their educational experience. Through its commitment to making astronomy accessible, UNAWE is pioneering a new path in early childhood education, inspiring a generation to reach for the stars.
