## Description

Uncharted Books is an independent bookstore in Chicago’s Northcenter neighborhood, where it welcomes readers to browse a curated collection of used, new, rare, and antiquarian books. Opened in Logan Square in 2012, the shop later moved to Andersonville before settling into its current home across from Lane Tech High School. Its selection spans contemporary literature, vintage science-fiction paperbacks, antique classics, comics, and handmade zines, with options for a range of budgets. Used paperbacks start at $4, and used comics at $1. The store also features collectible books and archival materials, including rare editions, handwritten letters, and related ephemera, and publishes catalogs highlighting noteworthy items. Customers can explore new arrivals and featured selections online, shop through its website, or visit the bookstore to read and enjoy its cozy atmosphere, which combines old-world curiosities with a do-it-yourself spirit. Uncharted Books also buys books from sellers, hosts events, and offers audiobooks through Libro.fm, including memberships and individual purchases that support the local bookstore.
