## Description

Danmarks Underholdningsorkester, also known as the Danish Chamber Orchestra, is a musician-owned Danish orchestra presenting classical and rhythmic music across Denmark. Its programme brings together major works from the classical repertoire, including music by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Haydn and Mozart, alongside popular artists and contemporary concert projects. The orchestra performs with its chief conductor, Adam Fischer, as well as guest singers, soloists and choirs from Denmark and abroad. Audiences can attend individual concerts, themed series and festivals, including the annual September Festival, and explore recordings and podcasts featuring classical works and other music.

The orchestra also helps children and young people discover music through activities and learning resources. Its offerings include digital music lessons, school concert programmes, teaching materials and initiatives for children, schools and municipalities. Through its online content, listeners can learn about instruments and classical masterpieces, while its podcast and recorded performances provide further ways to engage with music.
