## Description

Underline Ventures is an early-stage investment firm focused on supporting founders as they build and grow their companies. It invests at the pre-seed, seed and late-seed stages, typically alongside other investors, and its average cheque is $500,000. The firm can also help founders find additional investors.

Beyond providing capital, Underline Ventures works with founders to define strategy, set milestones and establish priorities for the journey from seed to Series A. It helps connect companies with both capital and talent, while seeking to keep founders in control of the businesses they are building. The firm says it aligns its interests with founders for the long term, offers a critical perspective and provides support when plans do not go as expected.

Underline Ventures shares insights on topics including agentic AI, industrial technology, space technology, defence technology and founder-led sales. Its website also features its portfolio, team, job opportunities and a newsletter, reflecting an ongoing focus on founders and the challenges of building companies.
