## Description

Unflatten is a technology company focused on building what it calls epistemic infrastructure: tools and systems intended to support research, reasoning, and the organization of knowledge. Its flagship offering is described as a frontier, open-weights internet research platform, positioned for use by advanced AI agents. The company also works on research language-model sorting, with particular attention to consistency and cost, suggesting an emphasis on making research workflows more dependable and efficient.

Beyond its research platform, Unflatten develops systems for private computation and explores ideonomy and compositional inference-time affordances. These areas point to a broader interest in how information can be processed, combined, and used while supporting privacy and more structured forms of reasoning. The site identifies Xyra Sinclair as the company’s lead and provides an email contact, along with privacy, terms, and SMS consent information. Overall, Unflatten presents itself as a research-oriented technology brand working across AI-enabled internet research, language-model organization, private computation, and methods for composing ideas and inference.
