Established in 2013, Taideyliopisto is the result of the merger between Kuvataideakatemia, Sibelius-Akatemia, and Teatterikorkeakoulu.

As the highest level of arts education in Finland, Taideyliopisto offers top-quality education and research in music, visual arts, performing arts, and writing. We are an international pioneer in arts education and research, enhancing the role of art as a driver of societal change. With 1,985 students and over 1,232 performances, concerts, and exhibitions annually, we are ranked 25th in performing arts globally (QS ranking 2023).
