UNICEF Chile

UNICEF Chile, part of the United Nations Children's Fund, has been protecting and advocating for the rights of children and adolescents in Chile and around the world for 75 years. Their mission, encapsulated by the hashtag #ParaCadaNiño, is to ensure that every child's rights are respected and upheld. With a focus on child welfare, UNICEF Chile works tirelessly to combat child malnutrition, providing support and resources to prevent the unnecessary deaths of over 1 million children under the age of 5 each year.

In addition to their valuable work in child protection, UNICEF Chile also supports the formation of judges and counselors, ensuring that the principle of the best interests of the child is upheld in the country's family courts. Furthermore, UNICEF Chile promotes positive and respectful treatment of children and adolescents, recently launching the Buenas Palabras campaign. Through this campaign, they aim to spread awareness about the importance of using kind words in nurturing the healthy growth of children.
