Unicongo, founded in 1958, is a patronal and interprofessional association governed by the Law 1901 in Congo. Its members are grouped into 13 national professional federations. Each federation has a bureau led by a President, assisted by one or more Vice-Presidents.
Unicongo represents private sector companies in Congo and advocates for their interests with public and institutional authorities. In order to improve the business climate and contribute to the development of the Congolese economy, the Union informs, supports, and advises these companies facing the challenges of an economy that was once dominated by the public sector and is now heavily influenced by globalization. Unicongo offers various services such as collective and individual support, studies and documentation, business relations and partnerships, recruitment support, and diverse services.
