## Description

The University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) is a specialised public university in Ghana, established under the University of Media, Arts and Communication Act, 2020 (Act 1059). It brings together three established institutions: the Ghana Institute of Journalism, the Ghana Institute of Languages and the National Film and Television Institute. Through its constituent institutes—the Institute of Journalism, Institute of Languages, and Institute of Film and Television—UniMAC offers education in media, communication, languages, film and television. The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, short courses, academic services, and student support, with information available on admissions, programme requirements, fees, calendars and academic policies. It also supports research through themes, publications, grants, collaborations and seminar series, and promotes engagement with industry and communities. UniMAC’s wider services include library and e-learning resources, transcript requests, accommodation information, alumni activities, events and employment opportunities.
