Established by presidential decree in 2000 and officially inaugurated in 2001, it developed from the Faculty of Agriculture at Cenderawasih University. Guided by the motto “Pro Humanitate Scientia” (“Knowledge for Humanity”), UNIPA combines higher education with research and community service.
