## Description

United Chessboxing is an organization dedicated to bringing together fighters, chess players, and fans to grow and unify the sport of chessboxing. The sport alternates rounds of chess and boxing, with a match ending by checkmate or knockout. Following chessboxing’s early development in Europe and its growth in the United States, United Chessboxing has worked to strengthen the American community through partnerships, club development, and the creation and sanctioning of rules.

The organization supports Team USA Chessboxing and brings together people with expertise in competition, coaching, law, research, marketing, and community building. Its work includes preparing athletes for the chessboard and the ring, promoting the sport, and helping establish a consistent framework for clubs and events. United Chessboxing also connects fans and participants through the Chess.com community, where members can play bots modeled on chessboxing figures, enter weekly tournaments, and compete for prizes. Through these activities, the organization aims to make chessboxing more accessible and build its presence in the United States and beyond.
