## Description

United Cycling Women (UCW) is a US-based Domestic Elite cycling team dedicated to empowering women to pursue their ambitions and develop as athletes. Founded in 2020, the team grew from a strong criterium focus to competing across a broader range of road disciplines, including stage races, road races, and time trials. Some riders also take part in gravel events. UCW races locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, with a roster and presence spanning the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest.

The team’s history includes a move to Domestic Elite status in 2022, its first appearances at the Redlands and Joe Martin Stage Races in 2023, and a seventh-place finish at Redlands in 2024. UCW reports two top-10 elite finishes at Criterium Nationals in 2026. Its mission is to support rider performance, including through a focus on women’s health, and to provide equipment, coaching, and support for female road cyclists in North America. Through its team, community, and fundraising efforts, UCW works to strengthen women’s cycling and help riders compete at every level.
