University City Partners (UCP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to investing resources and shaping public spaces in Charlotte's University City. Their goal is to create a better-built environment that enhances the way we live, work, play, and learn in the area. UCP invites others to join in this community investment by establishing a headquarters, opening a small to mid-size business, investing in real estate, or making University City their home.

While building University City involves developing the physical landscape, it also focuses on fostering relationships and building a stronger community for the future. UCP envisions and implements strategies to drive the long-term economic vitality of University City as a thriving center for employment, living, education, commerce, and entertainment. UCP concentrates its resources in planning and development, economic development, marketing and communications, and operations and governance.

They serve as a catalyst and thought leader, promoting public/private partnerships to create and sustain economic growth and enrich the University City area. Under the guidance of UCP, University Research Park has flourished as a center of employment, supporting UNC Charlotte's growth and the development of University City. Through timely and informative communication, responsible investment, and exemplary service, University City Partners continues to enhance the success of University Research Park.
