## Description

Unvarnished is a Malibu real estate brand founded around the vision of Scott Gillen, a designer and builder of luxury homes. The company curates and develops architecturally significant estates along the California coast, presenting them through a personalized home-buying experience. Its properties include The New Castle, The Case, The Cantilever House, The Butterfly House, The Edge, The Flat House and The Glass Tunnel, alongside additional Unvarnished listings.

The brand aims to rethink the traditional property-purchasing process by bringing home building and selling services together in-house. Its team connects buyers with builders, designers and agents, drawing on local talent, technology and resources to support a collaborative experience. Services include access to distinctive properties, carefully crafted finishes and concierge support. Unvarnished also provides information about its team and properties, and invites prospective buyers to get in touch. Based in Malibu, California, the company presents its work as a considered, service-led approach to luxury real estate, combining property development with guidance throughout the home-buying process.
