UNYPA, the Uganda Network of Young People Living with HIV/AIDS, is a brand dedicated to improving the lives of young individuals affected by HIV and AIDS. With a vision of positive and productive lives for all young people living and affected by HIV and AIDS, UNYPA is committed to creating an enabling environment for these individuals to meaningfully participate in the development of programs that enhance their livelihood. With 16 years of experience in the field, UNYPA has been instrumental in advocating for the quality of life of young people living with HIV in Uganda. Their national program and advocacy efforts include promoting universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support; combating stigma and discrimination; and ensuring the greater involvement of young people living with HIV in the national response. As a direct member of the National Forum of People Living with HIV/AIDS, UNYPA has reached over 50,000 young people through their campaigns. They have also received various certificates and awards for their outstanding mobilization and partnership efforts. Through their dedication and evidence-driven approach, UNYPA strives to reduce stigma and improve the well-being of young individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in Uganda.
