Under One Sky Friendship Centre is a vibrant and caring community hub, dedicated to revitalizing, celebrating, and embracing all Indigenous peoples and cultures. As a registered non-profit organization, their mission is to provide programs and services that educate, advocate for, and empower a healthy and proud Indigenous community. Under One Sky initially began as an Aboriginal Head Start program in 2004, focusing on supporting urban Indigenous families and their children aged 2-5 in the Fredericton region.

Recognizing the growing need for a community hub, they joined the Friendship Centre movement in 2015. With the unwavering support of Elders, volunteers, board members, staff, funders, and the community, Under One Sky has become one of over 100 Friendship Centres across Canada. As a Friendship Centre, Under One Sky strengthens connections within the community, offering a safe place to come together and celebrate Indigenous culture in an atmosphere of trust, respect, and friendship.

They provide various programs and services, including spiritual guidance, youth and cultural programs, health services, and support in finding housing and employment. Each Friendship Centre is unique, tailored to serve the specific needs of its community.
