UPAF, or the United Performing Arts Fund, has been dedicated to supporting and sustaining the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1967. As a nonprofit arts organization based in Greater Milwaukee, UPAF raises funds and secures community resources to foster the magic of music, dance, song, and theater. With the aim of bringing the community together, UPAF funds 47 diverse local performing arts organizations, including the First Stage, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and Skylight Music Theatre, among others.

Through their support, UPAF enables these groups to focus on creating, performing, educating, and inspiring audiences of all ages and backgrounds. With a vision of shaping a diverse, vibrant, and sustainable cultural life for all, UPAF holds the highest rating from Charity Navigator for financial management and transparency.
