## Description

Upper Rissington Parish Council is a dedicated group of up to 11 Councillors who volunteer their time to enhance the village and improve the quality of life for its residents. The Council's work is focused on three main areas: representing the local community, delivering services to meet local needs, and striving to make the parish a better place. Assisting the Council is their dedicated Clerk, who handles administrative tasks and acts as the Responsible Financial Officer. Funding for the Parish Council comes from grants, awards, and the precept, which is a portion of Council Tax. These financial resources are utilized to enhance facilities, services, and community projects for the benefit of the local community. The Council actively encourages input from village residents to guide their planning and budgeting processes, and ideas and suggestions can be submitted to the Clerk.
