## Description

The Upper Peninsula State Fair is an annual summer event held in mid-August in Escanaba, Michigan, bringing together visitors, exhibitors, and communities from across the Upper Peninsula. The fairgrounds host the weeklong celebration, featuring carnival rides, fair foods, free entertainment, agricultural exhibits, and scheduled grandstand and midway events. Visitors can plan their experience with ticketing and pricing information, event schedules, a venue map, parking details, and themed days. The fair also provides a showcase for agriculture and youth participation through livestock exhibitions, judging, awards, educational resources, and a junior market livestock auction. Exhibitor information includes deadlines, entry and preregistration details, and forms for participating in competitions. Beyond fair week, the Upper Peninsula State Fairgrounds accommodate large-scale events and offer facility rental, camping, and other services. The organization also shares information about non-fair events, winter storage, sponsorships, vendors, and employment opportunities. Located at 2401 12th Avenue North, the fairgrounds serve as a gathering place for entertainment, learning, and regional community traditions.
