## Description

Upstream Mental Health provides online therapy in Massachusetts for college and graduate students, young adults, professionals, and people from marginalized communities. Based in Boston, the practice supports socially conscious clients navigating academic and workplace pressures, relationships, identity, and the wider systems that shape their well-being. Its approach is grounded in multicultural, feminist, and clinical-community perspectives, recognizing that distress does not occur in isolation. Care is tailored to each person’s needs and goals, and clients are treated as experts on their own experiences. Rather than focusing only on adapting to difficult circumstances, Upstream Mental Health helps clients explore personal and systemic patterns, build self-compassion, and pursue more self-directed lives. Services include virtual therapy and comprehensive ADHD assessments for students and adults seeking to understand cognitive functioning and consider treatment or support options. The practice also offers workshops for community organizations and educational programs on topics such as burnout and cultural responsiveness, along with consultation for therapists in areas including clinical support, case management, and private practice development.
