## Description

UQ Junior Rugby, historically known as Taylor Bridge Rugby Club, is a family-oriented junior rugby community based in Graceville, Brisbane. Established in 1990, the club focuses on family, fun and participation, helping children develop rugby skills and enjoy being part of a team. Its programs cater to preschoolers through to Junior Colts, with different formats and pathways to suit a range of ages and needs.

Puppies offers children aged three to five a season-long introduction to rugby on Friday nights during school terms. The UQ Junior Bullsharks compete in the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union competition in modified formats for boys and girls from under-six to under-12. Junior Heavies provide a pathway from under-13s to Junior Colts, supported by UQ Rugby Club coaching and development opportunities. A dedicated Junior Heavies Girls program serves players from under-13/14 to under-16, while Girls Touch 7s introduces girls to non-contact rugby through an eight-week program. The club also offers GingerCloud Foundation’s Modified Rugby Program for neurodiverse young people.
