## Description

UQ Swimming Club is a university-based swimming club serving swimmers of all ages, abilities and ambitions at the UQ Aquatic Centre in St Lucia. Its seven squads offer a clear development pathway, from junior swimmers aged eight and up through age-group and open performance programs to Masters. Training focuses on sound technique across all four strokes, movement quality and steady progression, while supporting goals ranging from fitness and enjoyment to state, national and elite-level competition.

The club provides coached pool sessions six days a week in 50-metre and 25-metre pools, with squad placement based on each swimmer’s age, experience and goals. Weekly fees vary by squad and training load, are billed monthly, and prospective members can try a session free before committing. For competitive swimmers, the club guides families in using Stack Team App for communication and Swim Central for sanctioned competition registration. Members can also access club news, event information and branded merchandise, including training shirts and race-day caps.
