## Description

Ur-Ikara is a Basque association dedicated to bringing together people passionate about batteleku, a traditional rowing boat and an important part of the region’s living heritage. Since 1993, the organization has run the Trophée TEINK, a rowing raid that crosses the Basque Country from south to north, between Spain and France. The event celebrates teamwork, local culture, and the preservation of batteleku traditions.

Ur-Ikara shares information about the championship, including its stages, participating teams, race calendar, results, and news. It also offers a gallery of photos and videos, helping members and visitors follow the events and the association’s activities throughout the year. People can join the association, take part in races, or support its work through membership. An online shop sells exclusive Ur-Ikara merchandise, while sponsors help sustain the Trophée TEINK and its activities. Through rowing events and community involvement, Ur-Ikara encourages people to experience the collective spirit of the sport and help preserve Basque heritage.
