## Description

Urban Sketchers London is a community for people who enjoy drawing on location and capturing the character of London through sketching. The group organises regular sketchwalks across the city, welcoming participants to explore neighbourhoods, parks, riversides and landmarks while drawing together. Events are led by volunteer sketchers and are listed in a calendar, with details about locations, dates and leaders. Recent destinations include Angel in Islington, Crystal Palace Park, Chiswick Pier, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Hampstead Heath, Thames Barrier Park and Osterley Park.

Alongside its monthly outings, Urban Sketchers London shares seasonal sketching sessions, programme updates and opportunities to connect with sketchers elsewhere, including postcard exchanges with international groups. The website also offers guidance for newcomers, information on leading a sketchwalk, a glossary and details about the Urban Sketchers manifesto. Visitors can meet the team, subscribe for updates, contact the group and learn about its book, London by Urban Sketchers. Through its events and resources, Urban Sketchers London encourages people to observe, draw and share their experiences of the city.
