## Description

The USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), hosted by the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE), is the premier biology competition for high school students in the United States, engaging nearly 12,000 students each year. Through rigorous online exams and a residential training program, the USABO equips students with the motivation and advanced skills required for international competition.

Finalists not only deepen their understanding of biological concepts but also hone lab skills essential for success in the field. The program has a distinguished track record, with USABO Team members consistently earning gold medals at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO). Notably, the team achieved the coveted number one ranking globally in 2007, 2011, 2013, and 2024, showcasing the exceptional talent fostered by the program.

The USABO also provides resources for teachers and students to enrich their biology education and promote school participation in this prestigious event, making it an invaluable platform for aspiring biologists.
