## Description

USC Castelbolognese is an amateur sports cycling association based in Castel Bolognese, in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. Founded on 10 March 1966, the club grew from a group of local cycling enthusiasts and has supported sporting and recreational cycling for decades. Its activities bring together competitive riders, recreational cyclists, young people and the wider community, with a focus on promoting cycling across the Romagna area.

The association organizes road cycling and cycling-tourism events, including the Gran Fondo Valle del Senio, first held in 2002, and the Coppa Val Senio, which the club has organized since its early years. The Coppa is a major event on its calendar; the website identifies its first edition as having taken place in 1912. USC Castelbolognese also promotes mountain biking and gravel cycling, and offers opportunities to participate in group rides and club activities. Through events, community initiatives and fundraising gatherings, the association combines sport, local involvement and a longstanding commitment to cycling.
