## Description

USGenWebSites.org is a dedicated nonprofit hosting service designed to support the USGenWeb Project, a cherished resource within the genealogical community. Founded in response to previous hosting challenges faced by genealogists, USGenWebSites.org offers a secure platform for state, county, and special project websites linked to the USGenWeb Project. Operating on a model supported entirely by donations, the service ensures that hosting expenses are sustainably managed, as evidenced by the financial contributions of $787.22 received this year. The site prides itself on its accessibility, requiring only minimal criteria for hosting approval, and it operates without the complexities of modern web tools such as WordPress. Rebecca Maloney, the site's owner and manager, actively serves in multiple leadership roles across different state projects, demonstrating her commitment to preserving genealogical resources for future generations. For genealogists seeking reliable and dedicated hosting, USGenWebSites.org stands out as an integral part of the USGenWeb community.
